Langthorpe is a small village north of Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire
This earthwork is a recent discovery by the YAA project in association with the local history group.
The age, function, purpose and construction are at this time unknown, although from initial investigation it would appear to be associated with the henge complex starting at the Devils arrows at Boroughbridge and continuing to the Thornborough Henge Complex to the north.
Time and further investigation will hopefully reveal more!
